Hello there!

Welcome to BizTank

about BizTank

BizTank is the brainchild of Jeff Peterson, Co-Founder of Geneva Supply, Inc. It’s an idea that takes the passion from one’s career and enlightens the minds of the communities’ youth, specifically, junior and senior high school students.

BizTank is for the dreamers, the planners, the “know-it-alls” and the “I’m-not-quite-sure-I-know-what-I’m-doing-with-my-life” type of kids.

Any kid that’s willing to take a chance towards creating a future they truly enjoy, are welcome.

BizTank’s Mission & Vision

We are cultivating a group of driven individuals (or at least kind of driven) that see the value in going above and beyond the classroom requirements, and care enough about their future to try something new and to step outside their comfort zones, because as many of us know,
that’s really where all the fun is!

A Word

From Our Founder

“As a society, we ask a lot from our high school students. With no real-world experience, we expect them to have life figured out. To know what they want to be when they grow up, and whether to invest tens of thousands of dollars into education. At BizTank, we give students a chance to have experiences and hear stories direct from industry leaders. The next big idea can come from our community and I am blessed to be able to help cultivate those ideas with our BizKids.”

A Message from Our Alumni

Who better to explain what BizTank means to our participants than actual people who joined the program? Watch the video below to understand the impact BizTank has on the future of our community.

Kids In The Tank Podcast

Participants create their own episodes for the Kids in the Tank podcast. They research the guest speaker and his/her business, ask the questions, record, and with the help of the BizTank team, edit and produce.

All participants who successfully complete the BizTank program receive a $500 scholarship towards any continuing education program.
Career Exploration
BizTank is here to build bridges between employers and students. We want to spark an interest in these kids and help them prepare for the real world, and we hope that local businesses are willing to partner with us by offering them opportunities to do a job shadow, an internship, or possibly, summer employment.
BizTank Speaker Series
Tune in live every 7 PM Central every Wednesday to hear the night’s keynote speaker. Not able to view the presentation live? You also receive access to our on-demand library of past speakers.

Literacy… My Passion by Gloria Heiss

We try to help prepare the participants/kids, a.k.a. BizKids, for real life experiences in a way that they may not realize they're learning, and although they may think it's "scary" they seem to end up having a lot of fun! We see this all the time when they record...
